Agora Granada College inaugurates Agora Outdoor Learning and Agora Innovation Centre, reinforcing its leadership as the only IB Continuum school in Granada

Agora Granada College has officially inaugurated two innovative educational spaces: the Agora Innovation Centre and Agora Outdoor Learning, consolidating its position as a benchmark in international education and pedagogical innovation in Andalusia.

The event was attended by the school's headmaster, Javier Jiménez, the CEO of Globeducate Iberia, Lorenzo Fiorani, the managing director of the Agora cluster of schools, Vicenç Gandol, the director of marketing and admissions at Globeducate Iberia, Luis Grandas, and the mayor, Yolanda Fernández, who accompanied the school in this key milestone for its educational project.

Two spaces that transform the way we learn

The Agora Innovation Centre, covering 180 m², is an ideal space for developing skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication and inquiry. It is a cross-disciplinary space that will help in different subjects and provides educational resources such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, school radio, 3D printers, laser cutter printers, etc. It is an educational space where students can develop computational thinking from an early age, a process that helps us solve complex problems in any field.

For its part, Agora Outdoor Learning turns the natural environment into an open, flexible and lively classroom, improving motivation and emotional connection with the environment. It is an outdoor space designed to take learning outside traditional classrooms. Here, students learn through exploration, direct contact with nature and interdisciplinary projects that promote autonomy, curiosity and respect for the environment.

Both spaces reflect the school's educational vision: to offer varied, active educational experiences that are connected to real life.

A unique school in Granada and exceptional in Spain

Agora Granada College has been authorised by the International Baccalaureate as an IB Continuum school, being the first and only school in Granada, and one of 44 centres throughout Spain offering the three International Baccalaureate programmes (PYP, MYP and DP).

This international educational model, recognised for its academic rigour and focus on global competencies, sets the school apart from other educational centres in Granada.

Not only have two new educational spaces been inaugurated and our authorisation as an IB Continuum school been granted, but Agora Granada College also celebrates a different way of understanding learning, because with the Agora cluster methodology, in addition to achieving excellent academic results, we equip our students with skills and abilities for their personal and professional development.
