Four students from Agora Granada College International School win the Thales Mathematics Olympiads

Last Thursday, April 13 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Granada, took place the awards ceremony and diplomas to the winners of the Thales Mathematical Olympiads of Primary and Secondary organized by the Andalusian Society of Mathematical Education THALES.
The Andalusian Society of Mathematical Education THALES has been organizing for more than 30 years, activities related to research in the field of teaching and learning of mathematics promoting the taste for them showing a complementary and more enjoyable and fun to the vision that is usually given in the classroom.
In the 2023 edition, in the Primary Education category, out of 79 teams (237 students) participating from the province, the winner was the team "Matemagos" formed by Marcos Gómez, David Ibáñez and Graciella López; Primary students from Agora Granada College International School.
Respectively, in the category of Secondary Education, among 323 participants, we highlight our student Alfonso Martín, who will also participate in the Regional Olympiad to be held in Almería between May 17 and 20, 2023 to represent Andalusia in the National Mathematical Olympiad.
We do not forget the Special Mention to our student Elvira Robles, one of the Spanish champions in the Iberoamerican Olympiad, after winning the regional and national Olympiad in her category.
